Veteran’s Day 2019

It’s so very hard to believe it’s been five years since Eric left us. Since November 11, 2014, it seems the days go by ever so fast.  With the hustle and bustle of our lives, before you know it, another one of our birthdays have rolled around; we make a year older and get closer to going to the next planet we call “Heaven”.  Do you believe?

Before we believe in something, sometimes we don’t believe.  When there’s conversation, books written, test results, scientific results, product creations, TV productions, etc., we receive info that can change our minds.  That has happened to me.  Before I believed, I didn’t believe.  Because of “odd occurrences” happening to me, which I had/have no control over and my ongoing research, I do believe, now.

What is my new found belief? Don’t freak out okay. I believe that our loved ones that have passed on to the Lord, show us signs all the time their spirits are still around us; you have to be open to receiving the signs.  I believe this now because since Eric left us, I’ve been experiencing some really “odd occurrences” which make me believe it’s “Eric’s Spirit”; what else could it be?  Weird things didn’t use to happen to me. Okay maybe once in a blue moon; but not several times per month. It just didn’t use to happen to me. These “odd occurrences” always make me feel,” Eric’s Spirit” wants me to know HE IS AROUND. Here’s just a few examples of the many, many “odd occurrences” I’ve experienced.

Eric left us on 11.11.14, Veteran’s Day.  Never really paid attention to numbers.  When I “rarely” play the lottery, I usually purchase a quick pick lottery ticket; I never know what numbers to pick.  Since Eric left us the numbers “11 11” pops up so often and oddly in front of me it’s unbelievable; but I see it.  When I attempt to use my phone, so many times the clock displays “11:11” am and pm.  I get calls at “11:11” am and pm. I end calls at “11:11” am and pm; my tablet boots up and it’s “11:11” am and pm displayed.  No other clock time, pops up on my devices, in my face multiple times, as “11:11” does. It blows my mind how often it happens.

Now that’s not the only time “11:11” has appeared.  One day while running errands I decided I needed to put $11 worth of gas in my vehicle.  I’m going to a specific gas station today because their gas is cheaper and I’m near them.  I get to the gas station and it’s packed of course; however, I see one gas pump open and I rushed to it before anyone else can pull up to it. Success! I made it! I got the $11 out of my purse, grabbed my keys, locked my door and looked up to get the number of the gas pump and you won’t believe the number; It was gas pump “11”.

My mouth opened so wide I had to cover my mouth, my eyes bucked and I immediately began laughing out loud.  I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.  Can you believe it?  I’m getting $11 worth of gas on gas pump “11”. There’s the 11 11 again.  OMG!  You can’t make this up!  I was thrilled the 11 11 numbers were popping up again and in the oddest form. I laughed all the way to the inside of the gas station and while I was pumping the gas. That incident had me grinning all day because it felt as if “Eric’s Spirit” was around.

Here’s another incident for you.  On another day running errands, I had to go to Sam’s Club.  While I was there and nearly done shopping and about to go to the checkout, my sister called and asked if Sam’s Club had Chicken Alfredo and if so get her one.  Never had to get it there before; therefore, I didn’t know where to look.  I asked a staff member for assistance and was directed to where the Chicken Alfredo was hanging out in the refrigerator section.

I trotted over to that section and began looking for the perfect container of Chicken Alfredo.  Without further ado, I said out loud, “OMG! I don’t believe this. This is freaking insane. OMG!”  My girlfriend who wasn’t far from me, heard me freaking out and rushed over to find out what the hoopla was about.  I said to her, “you are not going to believe this; you are not going to believe this,” while pointing to the container of Chicken Alfredo.  She looked but couldn’t see what I was pointing at. I asked her to move closer so she could see what I was tripping on.  She said, “OMG is this for real?”  “I told you this continues to happen and here it is happening again,” I replied.

I wasn’t going to Sam’s Club to get a container of Chicken Alfredo for my sister.  She called me when I was just about to go to the checkout.  My girlfriend repeated what I’ve been saying, “Eric’s Spirit” must be here with you right now,”.  I agreed. We both started cracking up. The reason we were cracking up is because the container of Chicken Alfredo cost $11.11. No I’m not lying; it really cost $11.11. It was sitting right on top of the other containers. I was blown away again! You can’t make this up.

However, it didn’t stop there.  Oh no! I decided to get a container of Chicken Alfredo for my parents; I don’t eat dairy therefore none for me.  Now, I have a total of three separate orders. Chicken Alfredo for my sister $11.11 and bananas, Chicken Alfredo for my parents $10.87 and 2 delicious bottles of Cabernet Saviougn for me.  My sister’s order came to a total of $12.77; my wine totaled $18.25 and the grand total for my parent’s container of Chicken Alfredo with taxes…… wait for it – $11.11. I’m not making this up.

I couldn’t keep it inside; my girlfriend and I started cracking up.  We couldn’t’ believe the freaking total with taxes for my parents order came to $11.11. We were laughing so hard we had to tell the Sam’s Club Clerk at the register; she was looking at us like we were crazy, so we did. When we finished informing the Clerk about the totals of $11.11 for the containers of Chicken Alfredo she started laughing too and said, “he must be here. That is unbelievable and yet I’m ringing up the items with those $11.11 amounts; it’s for real.  This has really happened”.  She also said, “you’re going to be floating all day, girl”.  I know, I replied back.

For the rest of the day, I had to tell everyone I knew about that incident at Sam’s Club.  Everyone I told the story to answered the same way, “he must’ve been with you because that was too unusual”.  I was laughing and floating all day. Awesome!

Another day while out running errands, my last stop was at Walmart to pick up my order.  I arrived to Walmart and parked my vehicle.  I got out of my vehicle, shut the door and noticed a penny on the ground right near my vehicle.  By this time, I was tired and didn’t feel like picking the penny up for good luck. I said to myself as I walked to Walmart’s door, “I’ll leave it for someone else to have good luck today.” That’s how tired I was. I walked into Walmart and picked up my order. It took about 20 minutes.

I walked back to my vehicle, walking the exact same path I walked going into Walmart.  As I just passed my driver side front end, as I looked on the ground you will not believe what I saw.  It stopped me dead in my tracks.  I stared at it for a few seconds with disbelief. Snapping out of it very quickly I bent my tired self down and picked it up. It was a dime.

It’s now in the palm of my hand; all of a sudden I hear me say to myself, “I guess I’ll pick up the penny now, which was only a couple of inches from the dime.”  So I did and as I stared at the penny and the dime in the palm of my hand, I realize I had 11 cents in my hand. My eyes bucked, I put my hand over my mouth as I stood beside my vehicle staring at the 11 cents and wondering, “is this freaking for real? WTH is really going on?” I started laughing so hard as I opened my vehicle door and got in. I kept saying, “Is this for real, is this for real”?  You have to be kidding me? Eric what are you doing? Are you confirming again your “Spirit” is around right now? You are on a roll! This is hilarious Boo! 11 cents; seriously?”  As I’m typing this, I‘m laughing so hard because I can still see and feel that awesome “odd occurrence” as clear as day.

You can’t make this stuff up! Because so many “odd occurrences” were/are happening to me, I decided to share some of them with you. I have “picture receipts” for some of the 11 11 “odd occurrences” in the video below.  Remember Eric today on 11.11.19, his 6th Veteran’s Day with the Lord.
