PUSH IT!

A few years ago Eric and I were at my family reunion in Chicago. While at our BBQ event we all attempted to gather together to take a group photo. Once we were in position for the photo my cousin who insisted she play photographer, couldn’t figure out how to make the camera work.

Another cousin yells out, “Just push it!” and Eric yells out, “And push it real good”. We all bursts into laughter, got out of photo position because we couldn’t stop laughing for at least 15 minutes. Of course while attempting to get back in photo position, none of us could stop laughing at Eric’s perfect timing with “and push it real good”.

Since his departure everyone who was at the BBQ event, reference Eric with “and push it real good”, which begins their conversation of how funny Eric was; how he totally missed his calling as a paid comedian.

When I got back home to Chicago from his burial, during one of my crying sessions, while the TV was on I heard the below video. It seemed for the next 2 – 3 weeks every time I turned the TV on the video would come on. It makes me and my relatives who were at the family reunion that weekend laugh every time we see the video.
